The novel, like its predecessors, is narrated by Cassie Logan, who is now seventeen years old in the year 1941. When her older brother Stacey comes home with his friends Little Willie and Moe in a used car, things seem good. But they soon come across Stacey's friend Clarence fighting with his girlfriend Sissy about him joining the army, and encounter Charlie Simms, a hateful old white man who forces Stacey and his friends to help him and his son get their truck out of a ditch using Stacey's brand new car.

Transiting from primary to secondary school is not a bed of roses for every single child in Singapore. Sparkling, an ordinary teenager but ever-enthusiastic to try new things, has gotten her choice school, Evergreen Secondary School. On the first day of school, Sparkling felt trepidation and anxiety. However, at the back of her mind, she was guided by the values that she firmly believed in. Throughout her school life, she had her 'heart' friends - the values such as Endure, Care, Courage, Doubt, Fear and Vision. These values live inside Sparkling's mind, where they help advise her through everyday life. As Sparkling struggles to adjust to a new school life, turmoil ensues in her mind. Although Courage, Sparkling's most important value, tries to help her to face the challenges, the different values conflict on how best to navigate a school life and new-found friends.

2017 CTSS Sec 3NA Structures

THE MAKERSPACE is a course on Developing Technology: Structures for 2017 Sec 3 Normal Academic students. Students should strive to gain as much experience from their training sessions and attempt the missions to achieve the badges and hit the leaderboard. Learning Objectives of this module: 1)Types of structures 2) Loads and Forces 3) Structure Failure 4) Structural Properties of Materials 5) Structural Reinforements At the end of the module, students are required to design and make a sustainable and functional cardboard stool for users.

The DT department is in dire need for chairs. The current chairs cannot support the weight of the DT teachers and pupils as the pupils are getting plumper everyday. We need more stable and stronger chairs!!!

"Jack, Jack... Jack!! Check this out!" Brenda yelled as she turned her head away from her computer screen. Jack, lifeless as ever, got out of bed and trudged over to the computer at the other end of the room. It was his second month staying in this rented small two bed-room apartment, and it wasn't even rented by him. Brenda, his classmate from high-school was helping him out by giving him a room to stay in. Things weren't always so bad, but ever since the collapse of the construction firm he used to work at, Jack has been out of a job. "What is it this time? Brenda." Jack said in a slightly frustrated tone. It was not that he wasn't grateful to his friend, but after being unemployed a year and having all his savings run dry, Jack was hardly in the best of moods. "You got to check this out..." -To be continued-

CS1010S - Programming Methodology (AY2016/2017, Sem2)

This module introduces the fundamental concepts of problem solving by computing and programming using an imperative programming language. It is the first and foremost introductory course to computing and is equivalent to CS1010 and CS1010E Programming Methodology. Topics covered include problem solving by computing, writing pseudo-codes, basic problem formulation and problem solving, program development, coding, testing and debugging, fundamental programming constructs (variables, types, expressions, assignments, functions, control structures, etc.), fundamental data structures: arrays, strings and structures, simple file processing, and basic recursion. This module is appropriate for FoS students.

Being a creative inventor, you would like to help your hometown by inventing a machine, Flint Lockwood Diatonic Super Mutating Dynamic Food Replicator (FLDSMDFR), that turns water into food. However, this replicator eventually produced large over-sized food that resulted in a food storm. After saving the town from a food storm, you are tasked by Chester from Live Corp to clean up the island. Through the mission, you discovered that the food replicator is still churning out food with animal characteristics, foodimals and Chester is plotting to make food bars out of these foodimals by programming the FLDSMDFR to make turn them into Food Bars 8.0. Will you be able to find the FLDSMDFR in time and expose Chester's evil plot so that you could save the foodimals?
